ChoralTech MIDI/MP3 Library

Mozart Requiem ("Rolling Requiem") MIDI and MP3 rehearsal files:

The links in the table below open MIDI files for the various sections of Messiah; we hope you will use them to prepare (and elevate!) your performance.  If you find them useful, please check out the full MIDI library for your NEXT concert, and help us spread the word about how valuable these can be.

A note on MIDI players: Some MIDI players are better than others (for instance, some let you use a slider to set where you are in the piece, some don't.)  Microsoft's Windows Media Player, if you don't have it already, is available for download from their web site, as is Real Player, and others probably are, too.

If you really want to have control of how the files play, try downloading "VanBasco Karaoke" shareware.  It will let you select which tracks you want to play, adjust the speed as you wish, and control the volumes independently.  You might want to create a playlist of these files.  It's very cool...give it a try.

Cost:  It takes me several hours to create these rehearsal samples.  If you find them useful and would like to help us create MIDI files for more music, please consider making a contribution via the PayPal link below, or mail a check to ChoralTech, 10533 SW Cove Rd, Vashon, WA, 98070.   Thanks!!

How to use these files:
1)  You can simply click the part you want in the table below and have it play on your computer using Windows Media Player, Real Player, etc.
2)  You can copy the MIDI files to your computer, usually by right-clicking and entering a path and file name (hint: use the name of the section rather) where you want to save the file.  You can then make a Playlist on whatever media player you use.
3)  You can make an audio CD for your CD player by copying the MP3 files (not the MIDI version) you want to your computer (right-click the link and "Save target as..." [Windows]) and burning them to a CD.

If you have questions or comments, please contact me...  And if you're a Facebook user, please Recommend us to your choral friends:

Finally, please check out our web site for the music you will be preparing for future concerts.  We have a large selection of works already rendered as MIDI files, and we can be convinced to render those we don't (yet) have.  Also we can prepare and host a web page (similar to this one) for the MIDI files your group will be performing in the future to make benefits available to your entire group.
