Vashon Chorale MIDI rehearsal samples:

The links in the table below open MIDI files for the various sections.  Some MIDI players are better than others (for instance, some let you use a slider to set where you are in the piece, some don't.)  Microsoft's Media Player, if you don't have it already, is available for download from their web site, as is Real Player, and others probably are, too.

Click here for "Using MIDI files" PowerPoint instructions

If you really want to have control of how the files play, try downloading "VanBasco Karaoke" shareware.  It will let you select which tracks you want to play, adjust the speed as you wish, and control the volumes independently.  You might want to create a playlist of these files.  It's very cool...give it a try.

Click here for a free download!

Cost:  It takes me several hours to create these rehearsal samples.  If you find them useful, I would appreciate knowing it, and would not turn down a small contribution to my retirement fund (a couple $$ from enough people would cover it.  Just use the PayPal link below or send a check to ChoralTech, 10533 SW Cove Rd, Vashon, WA 98070.   Thanks!!

CDs:  You can make a CD for your CD player by copying the MP3 files (not the MIDI version) you want to your computer (right-click the link and "Save target as..." [Windows]) and burning them to a CD.
Or, if you'd like me to make one for you, email me at dennis@choraltech.us with the subject "Carmina Burana CD" and include the following information
    1)    what part you want (S, A, T, B), and
    2)    for 2-part divisi sections, 1st (higher) or 2nd (lower), and
    3)    for 3-part divisi sections, a (highest), b (middle), or c (lowest), and
    4)    for double choir (section 20), Choir I or Choir II, and
    5)    your name and phone.
I charge $5 per CD, cash, check, or PayPal, and will bring it to rehearsal unless you want to pick it up (let me know).
